Why are people selfish

What I feel is people are selfish because they hope to get something without giving - hence they try the cheap way to succeed. to leave or to fall in love - whatever is easier and cheaper..what,s your opinion???

They are motivated by their own self-interests. People simply accomplish the most when their self-interests are being served.

but some time some selfish ppl never accept this realty..that some one really love them from core of it,s heart...this is also other side of coin...
