Usage Of Second Shaadi Site

Hi Anurag You have raised quite a valid concern. But my experience suggests that there are not many people who have gone through the pain of creating a prfile just for fun. I think they are either not using the site as regularly as we would expect, or maybe dont bother responding to the messages because they are not interested in the member's profile One good thing that I personally use is to see the member's rating on their profile. This shows how active the member is on the site. I always use this as a measure, to sense how soon (if at all) will the member respond. Hope this helps Anurag...and all the best for the search...

Hi Ruchi, Thanks for taking the time to read my question and posting your reply. The reason I mentioned that MANY of the users are not serious enough is because MANY of the FEMALES I have contacted have not even READ my message even after 2 WEEKS! Your point of view that MANY of the contacted people are NOT interested is a GOOD point. But then this raises even a MORE SERIOUS ISSUE - THESE USERS ARE NOT MATURE EVEN because despite CLEARLY seeking feedback (POSITIVE/ NEGATIVE) in each of MY INITIATIVES, THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE TO RESPOND EITHER WAY! This clearly demontrates their CALLOUS attitude! I, for one, had hoped that after having gone thru troubles in ONE's lefe, a PERSON would become more MATURE, SENSITIVE and SINCERE towards LIFE and OTHER PEOPLE! But then it is quite possible that this VERY CALLOUS ATTITUDE is the reason for THEIR CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS! Everyone else, please do EXPRESS your experiences/ point of views! Hello Anurag, Really it is much bigger ISSUE before all members. Actually this issue should be raised first by the members. I am fully agree with the views of Sh. Anurag and Ms. Ruchi. I observed since February, **** that even needy ladies are not responding the email message/profiles and simply read out. Members should explained in length that why she/he has rejected the profile so that sender may obtain the answer immediately. Every members is free to search for good soulmate but Mostly members (specially divorcees) want a good companion second time perhaps they fear that she/he may NOT BE as like first soulmate. I have got two-three telephone calls some directly and indirectly from members. Their final reply that they will consult with their sr. relatives then they will call again but never I received call back. One member was interested in profile but when I replied her, she simply replied that your age is ** years more than me. I was stunned when he replied as such. Ms. Ruchi has also well expressed that mostly members are created their profiles for fun only. I request the all members that they should take part in discussion take it seriously. I think may be there have some problem on online chat . Because the personwho accept my massage those people also not responding in online chat . The management should taken care of it .,if it is a technical problem . Uddalok **.**.****

Hi Anurag, I am of the opinion that many profiles are put up by other marriage bureaus. Once a lady accepted my profile. I was given the mobile no. but this mobile No turned out to be the No of a prominent marriage bureau. I refused to pay them. So many profiles are put up by others,other then self. You can't expect quick response in this situation. Gujarati marriage bureaus in mumbai hold one is to one meetings on sundays. I am attending this type and find it more better.

Hi All, Thanks for your valuable inputs and views! It is indeed frustrating when people respond to ur initiatives OR go silent when u respond to their initiatives! I, for one, find it very childish and immature that people DO register on the site but then are not serious in their pursuit to find a life partner! The most surprising 'encounter' was one of the most recent one wherein after initiating a contact with a 'HIGHLY LEARNED AND BROAD MINDED LADY' and after having communicated over e-mail and finally on phone a month later, SHE came back a day later saying that WE were incompatible because of our birth details! This was not due to the 'janam patri match' but because of our inherent characterstics 'dictated' by our birth details!!! Did not know that despite such high education, people could have such a 'WIERD' outlook/ thoughts! I like Mr Prakash's suggestion of holding personal meetings. But I feel having so many One-On-Ones would not be feasible especially in larger cities. I feel people who are managing this site can arrange a group gathering of ALL INTERESTED premium members in that city so that these members could get together and interact on a personal basis and then the individuals could take it further from there. The local members can meet each other in the same city and Management of secondshaadi.com may kindly arrange the personal meetings every*or*months as like Jeevansathi.com as early as possible so that members may get benefit from these meetings. I think, profiles should be read thouroughly before responding. As in my case I have clearly mentioned that I am looking for someone who is below my age which is 32. But still I get messages from elderly individuals whom I hardly care to respond back. It may be not a problem for others who are at a position to marry or remarry someone senior. But when it has been clearly mentioned in a profile, i think it should be respected. This is the reason maybe responses are not received as expected. Since now, i have not received an interest that suites my requiremnt.

Anurag, First of all - Chill! We all know - Life is not fair (and that's why we are here ;-)) Yes, there certainly is a technical problem in the chat software of this site. It shows 100s of users online, whereas actually they are not. (Once you log out, then also the site keeps showing you online.) So, it should resolve one part of query. Secondly, please allow other members to exercise the options of choosing your proposal or not (You should thank God that - you are not wasting time with such people who do not have courtesy to reply, and of course you don't want such a person in your life.) Besides this, the site has very un-user-friendly method of showing "expression of interest", due to which many members (specially women) do not know what to do when receive a message (Hope this issue is resolved with the new design of site). Also, most members have profiles on - Shadi.com, Jeevansathi.com etc. etc. And for many members, this site ranks low on their priority. Lastly, many profiles are made by parents etc, who are not so regular and are not so net-savvy. Thus, this lac of response. Nevertheless, I had pretty ok response ratio on this site, so I should not be complaining.
