Traditional, Moderate, Liberal - Myth

I was liberal when i was a kid (don't even wear underwear my mom says), then turned traditional in schools, when i became a teenager i was liberal outside, moderate at home and traditional at school. Then became moderate in college and liberal when i stayed outside college campus. I became liberal when i started working and want to be liberal at home but the marriage went moderate. My wife was liberal in thoughts but traditional in actions (all duties to be done by a male). Got confused. Went to court they are liberal in news (gays) but traditional in Rules (Women sentiments). What is these all about Traditional Moderate and Liberal ???? Can someone explain?
